About us

The Eikon Charity provides targeted services to young people and their families across Surrey and particularly in Surrey Heath. Taking a preventative, proactive and inclusive approach in situations such as mental health, bullying, poverty, family breakdown, anti-social behaviour and LBGT. Our aim is to build confidence, resilience and empower young people to contribute positively to society.

Our approach in Surrey Heath has a strong presence in schools, communities and within the local authority. We have an accredited mentoring programme with over 25 volunteer mentors providing specialised one to one intervention for 11-18-year olds. Alongside our mentors we have a pool of experienced youth workers delivering early help intervention. These youth workers also run safe and supported youth centres in Chobham, Deepcut and Camberley.  We have built and tailored transition projects to support with mental health awareness (Heads-Up) and resilience (Smart Moves). Our inspirational and influential Youth Council, with representatives form all secondary schools, acts as a voice for young people to tackle issues within the community.

To overcome the ever-growing complexity and needs of young people in Surrey Heath, Eikon relies on financial support to deliver to its fullest potential to as many targeted young people and families as we can. Therefore, we would like to invite you to take part in the lottery, not only to “win” but also support the charity sector in the Borough. Given that the wellbeing of today’s young people will be a major influence on our future, we very much hope that you will nominate Eikon as your preferred Surrey Heath charity.

With your generosity we come together as a Borough to change and shape the future of our young people’s lives.

We say a HUGE extended thank you and the best of luck for the draw.
